The number of items required is stated on each individual listing as it varies for each item. This is based on small baby clothing, if the items you are using are adult clothing please contact me to confirm the amount. I am happy to incorporate more than the stated amount of items into your design should you wish, but no less. I may not use all items sent so it it best to highlight your favorites. Please try not to send too many items as you may need to pay extra shipping to have unused items returned. If you send less than the minimum required amount stated on the listing you may receive a smaller keepsake than expected.

This question is asked a lot, and the answer is simply, anything!

All clothing is lined before being transformed into your chosen keepsake so I can use absolutely any material. Vests, sleepsuits, t shirts, trousers, jeans, knits are all fine. All over prints are easier to work with than large slogans but I will incorporate these where I can. Small items such as bibs and hats are also welcome but if including these please note they will only account for 1/2 an item.

If you do not have quite enough clothing items for your chosen keepsake, a good idea is to include some larger items such as blankets or muslins to make up the extra fabric required.

Please be aware that in the case of loose knit items the white interfacing may be visible.

To some extent, yes. I will try to take any special requirements into account throughout the design and creation of your keepsake. If you have specific parts of the clothing you would like used or not, or if you would like a special item used in a  particular place for example I will try my best to accommodate if these details are left on the notes section. However, this may not always be possible, and ultimately the final layout will be designed by myself, incorporating any requests I can. Upon placing an order you give consent for me to design the layout of your keepsake in the way I deem most appropriate. Please be aware that due to the hand made nature of these items, no two will ever look the same. Each item is individually designed and the final outcomes will vary according to fabrics provided.

Unfortunately I can not accept special requests or embroidery details via email or messenger. While we may discuss these in advance it is imperative that you include them on your order notes. When I come to create your keepsake I will only work from your printed order form and/or hand written note.

Emails and messages can easily get lost, deleted or overlooked. I sell across various platforms and some customers hear about me through word of mouth. Some customers contact me before placing an order and some I never speak to directly. Added to that, that many orders are placed under different names and surnames and this means that it would be very time consuming and often fruitless for me to search back through every single message and enquiry. For these reasons, any special requests MUST be written in the notes section or a note included inside your clothing parcel. I can not be held responsible for any requests overlooked should the information not be provided in the specified manner.

The process is very simple, the hardest part is deciding which item to choose from the beautiful selection! Once you have chosen, add the item into your basket and in the notes section you should leave details of any embroidery you require. After you checkout, you will be sent an automated email with details of where to send your clothing. Pop them in the post with a note including your name and any special requests you have, e.g specific parts of the clothing you would like left out, or a particularly special item you would like to have pride of place at the front. Turnaround time is stated as the month of completion when you place the order. This will be stated on the listing and does not include shipping time, once the item has been dispatched the amount of time it takes to arrive is down to the delivery service.
This is subject to change if clothing is not sent on time you will lose your place in the queue and unfortunately 

may also vary due to other circumstances out of my control, ie illness. If you are concerned about the timescale of your order you are always welcome to contact me at any time.

I would like to stress that due to each order being entirely unique, I can never guarantee how long an item will take to complete. All details provided are only an estimate and you may receive your item slightly earlier or later than expected. Unfortunately with bespoke, handmade work, there is no way around this.

Please also be aware that the estimated month of completion stated is the month that your order is due to be fulfilled and not necessarily the month you will receive your order. If you are the last order of the month, your order will not reach you until the start of the following month.

If your order consists of more than one item, this may also be carried over to the next month if at the time of ordering there is only space for one item within the month stated. This is because each month is divided into a number of slots, an animal is one slot, a blanket 2-3 slots and a quilt is 4-8 slots. If you place an order for a quilt for example, and there is only one slot left for the current month stated, your order moves to the following month. If your order is more than one slot and you need it for a specific date please check with me that this is possible before placing the order.

Please note that we are closed during school holidays and public holidays.

Please also note that no orders are taken for the month of August, July will be followed by September completion. We will be closed 

Any whole and unused items will be sent back to you with your finished keepsake as standard. I do not send back offcuts unless requested. If you would like your offcuts to be returned you may be asked to pay any extra shipping costs incurred.

If you find yourself needing to cancel your order, please send me a message to discuss details. You may cancel within 30 days for a full refund. 25% of the listing price will be retained in the case of any cancellations after 30 days from ordering. This retention covers all materials, fabrics and miscellaneous items purchased in relation to your order. Please be aware that if you require your clothing items returned, you will be required to pay for the return shipping costs.

No refunds can be issued once work on your order has begun.
If in the unfortunate case you need to cancel the order due to your clothing parcel being lost in transit and 30 days have passed you will need to provide a proof of posting to be eligible for the full refund. If no proof of posting can be provided you will receive your refund minus 25% as above.
Please allow up to 30 days to receive your refund.

It is your responsibility to read all information and stick to the terms stated upon ordering. If you do not send your clothing within the agreed timescale, and I do not hear from you with regards to extending this, I may cancel the order and you will not be eligible for a refund as you have voided the agreement set out when the order was placed.

If you need to significantly extend the time allowed to send the clothing and this surpasses your fixed month of completion, I may need to cancel the order and issue you with a credit note allowing you to place your order at a more convenient time for yourself. 

All embroidery is free. This will vary between hand and machine embroidery depending on what is required and which keepsake item you have chosen. Please leave details of any embroidery required in the notes section. If you forget to do this upon placing the order, please then send a note inside your parcel with these details on. Any details sent via messages at a later date may be overlooked. This option is free, therefore you will not be reimbursed for missing details that have not been provided in the aforementioned ways. Please ensure all dates and spellings are correct, I will not be held liable for any mistakes if the details have been copied exactly from your note.

If you have left embroidery details on your order and also send a note, I will use the more recent details on the note so please ensure this is the same as your order note, or a correct updated version if different.

Payment can be made in full at the time of placing the order. You can also find a listing to pay a deposit only with the balance to be paid within 90 days. I ask that clothing be sent to me by the end of the month before your order is scheduled. You may send at any time before then. This also means that should an earlier slot become available I can go ahead with making the next order in line. Payment can be made through the website via paypal, credit or debit card.

UK shipping is a set price of £6.95 for one item and an additional £2 for each further item.

International shipping is a set price of £17 under 1kg and £25 under 2kg.

Please note birth weighted keepsakes can not be shipped internationally due to cost.

If you are shipping your clothing to me from outside the UK please DO NOT label your parcel as goods/merchandise. This will incur a large import fee which you will be liable to pay. The parcel contents are not goods that I have purchased and should not be labelled as such.

A local collection option is also offered. Please be aware that collection and delivery slots will be extremely limited and may take some time to arrange.

Birth weighting is having your keepsake animal weighted to your babies birth weight. Top quality weighting pellets are used for this process. They are placed inside the animal, along with the stuffing, to recreate your babies weight at birth.

You may be able to feel the pellets inside in some places, this is perfectly normal and will not affect the keepsakes appearance in any way.

Birth weighting is accurate to 0.02kg. Please be aware that this may vary according to different scales.

Unfortunately I can not ship birth weighted items outside of the UK.

Please be aware that birth weighted animals do not feel like a baby due to the weight distribution being entirely different. In terms of comparison they are similar to a heavy doorstop.

Unfortunately this is not a service I offer explicitly at this time. I may however offer up a few slots each month if I have enough spare time and current orders are well on schedule. You can find these under the Express Slot listing. 

I ask that clothing is received by the end of the month before your order is scheduled..

If I do not receive your clothing in time for your slot your order may be cancelled or postponed and put to the back of the queue. It is your responsibility to send the clothing in good time, I am unable to send reminders for each individual order.

It is important to state that while birth weighted items are all weighted to the correct weight, due to the size and shape of the items they will not 'feel' like a real baby.

My quilting is self taught due to popular request. Whilst they are not immaculately perfect for now, I am happy to say that they are made with love and built to last. Prices reflect this.

I personally recommend lighter colours be used for quilts when asked, however, if choosing a dark coloured fabric to back your quilt, (ie navy, red etc) the fabric will be prewashed in case of colour run. I would advise a cool wash with colour catchers for any subsequent washes.

All items are made to order and no fabric stock is held. Materials are ordered in on a custom basis. Please note that should you change your mind about the materials you have chosen for your order once they have already been purchased, you will be required to cover the costs of the alternative fabric.

These are a lucky dip and the prints used are random therefore they are non refundable unless faulty.

Slot Deposits of £5 are charged to cover admin fees involved with prebooking a slot, therefore are non refundable should you not pay your final invoice or send your clothing within the specified time scale.
